[Ardantane Herald] Pirate Party October 13 AND Beavers Needed for Dome Finish

Aaarrrggghhh Matey! Come to  the Pirate Party!
 
'Tis true, yer invited to a gathering of the Brethren (and Sistern) on  
Saturday, October 13 at Ardantane! It'll happen at the Tortuga Tavern, that  some 
calls the Dome, ter celebrate the enclosing of that structure. There'll  be a 
Pirate Fashion Show, a Pirate Trivia Contest, there'll be singin' of  sea 
chanteys and dancin' the hornpipe, Swashbucklin' Competition, Storytelling,  
Private-ear Divination, Jolly Roger beer and root beer and rum and pizza and  more! 
It's all to raise some booty ter buy windows and doors and finish the  Dome, 
so it's a cause that every red-blooded buccaneer can get behind. Here be  the 
details, mate:
 
EVENT: Plunderin' Pirate Party at the Tortuga Tavern (Ardantane)
DATE: Saturday, October 13
TIME: 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
PRICE: $13 per person (and bring some loot fer the wet bar!)
DRESS: Full pirate costumes preferred (or tavern wench, or whatever)
BRING: Yer mates (car pool please), yer costume, yer gold

Beavers Work Parties: You  Are Needed!
 
The Dome is so close to being completely enclosed--enough so that we're  
holding the Pirate Party there! But we need help to finish the job by October  13. 
We'll be having work parties this Saturday September 8, plus every  
Wednesday, plus Saturday October 13 to finish what we can and set up for the  Pirate 
Party. (No Beavers on Sundays.) Come help if you can -- free lunch and  
beverages, Beaver Bucks etc., no construction experience necessary. Call  469-3307 if 
you have questions--hope to see you this Saturday if possible.
