ARDANTANE HERALD
Blessed Beavers to Gather: Come Saturday AND/OR Sunday
The Blessed Beavers (that's anyone who volunteers to help build our campus) will gather this weekend, both Saturday AND Sunday (May 12-13) at Ardantane. Come one day or both, and help build something wonderful!
We will get started at 9:00 am both days, and continue until it feels right to stop. We need people who can paint, haul stuff, glue things together, pound nails, clean and sort tools, find stones for the Shrine of the Ancestors, pick up trash, and more. Time to add panels to the Dome, put a roof on Kitschwitch, finish painting Cattail Cottage, prepare for Sunfest, clean out the Pumpkin Shed, and other spring projects.
Volunteers get free lunch (Chez Cedar on Saturday), Beaver Bucks worth $35 off any class, and a Blessed Beavers embroidered emblem if it's your first visit. You can stay overnight Friday or Saturday if you like. Please come help for part or all of the weekend!
Call Amber at 469-7777 if you need more information. Thanks!
Satellite Internet Comes to Ardantane
On Wednesday, Bob from Hughesnet installed and hooked up our satellite dish--we have Internet access AT Ardantane!
There are no telephone landlines at Ardantane--they would have to run overhead--so we opted for satellite access.
Many thanks to Kathryn and Daryl who donated the satellite dish--one more step toward a functioning office and a fully-equipped campus!
