Rescheduled  Classes 
Spellcrafting,  sponsored by the School of Magic & Witchcraft and taught by 
Seusomon  Starweaver and Inara will be held on Sat-Sun May 5-7.  It was moved 
so as not to conflict with  SWEFA Beltane. 
Ethics  for Pagan Leaders: The Good, the Bad, and the Muggley, sponsored by 
the School  of Pagan Leadership and taught by Amber K & Scott Lamont will be 
held on  Sat-Sun Jul 21-22.  This class meets  the ethics class requirement for 
all certificate programs.

Spring  Beaver Days! 
Blessed  Beavers work parties will focus on Dome construction and Cattail

Water  Treatment System Fundraising 
Got  an idea for a fundraising event, such as a garage sale, car cleaning,

,  and we’ll advertise it here. 
Ardantane  students need showers and toilets. Ardantane needs a water 
treatment  system. The  Ardantane Board of Directors has decided that this needs to 
be a high priority,  and that all fundraising efforts in New Mexico will be 
directed toward this. The  goal is to get a state-of-the art treatment and 
purification system installed  this summer. 
After  use, greywater and black-water will be purified and then go to a “
green space”  behind La Casa (across the road from Hawk Haven), to water trees, 
gardens, and a  small grassy area that can be used for outdoor classes or 
rituals.  The total cost of the system will run  nearly $20,000, according to Dave 
Raue, local water system  contractor.                          
The  system will be attached to “La Casa,” the staff residence, and the  
restroom/shower facilities there will be opened to all students, volunteers, and  
visitors.

Interpersonal  communication is often taken for granted, without 
acknowledging the complex  processes at work. Without understanding the basic principles 
of communication,  you may find that what you want to say is not what is heard, 
or that what you  perceive is not what was intended, situations which can be 
disastrous for  magickal groups. This brief workshop will provide insight into 
your processes  and patterns, and those of others you may interact with using 
a Pagan framework  for understanding communication styles and preferences 
based upon the Elemental  model. It has been said that "You cannot not 
communicate". Find out how to  function effectively within the seeming strictures of 
this  truism. 
Scott  Chisholm Lamont has been a lifelong pagan. First called by the Goddess 
in the  foothills of the Canadian Rockies as a young teen, he has been 
exploring and  expanding his magickal skills in healing, environmental and political 
activism,  and community building ever since. A Wiccan Priest in the West 
Coast Eclectic  Tradition, he has taught at the coven and community level, as 
well as for  Ardantane. He is the High Priest of the Circle of the Winter Moon, 
and a nursing  educator at UNM Hospitals. A certified mediator and trained 
consensus  facilitator, he is currently working on a teaching resource for the use 
of  consensus by formal organizations. He can be reached at

Got  Beaver Bucks?  For every volunteer day you put in, you'll get a $35 
tuition  credit.    
You  can also get a tuition credit of $25 by bringing a new student to an 
Ardantane  class.  Invite a friend to come to a class with you and receive a $25  
gift certificate towards the next class you register for.  When you and  your 
friend register, in the comments box, just put in your friend's name and  
that they are a first time student. It is that easy!
