[Ardantane Herald] Blessed Beavers Feb. 10 and Need a Generator?

 ARDANTANE HERALD
 
Hear ye! Hear ye! After a long winter's hibernation the Blessed Beavers of Ardantane awaken from their sleep and come forth into the world, filled with energy and renewed resolve!
 
At least we hope so.
 
On Saturday, February 10 (weather permitting) we invite you--yes, you-- and all past, present and future volunteers to come to Ardantane and continue the work of building the campus. We'll start at 9:00 am and hope to work until 3 or 4.
 
We're not yet ready to continue the Dome construction, but we have lots of projects that will be fun--especially at Cattail Cottage, our newest small building. It needs porch posts installed, insulation put into the interior walls, steps built, a parking space delineated, and if it's warmish at all, painting.
 
If the weather's very cold, or snowing, we'll postpone. Otherwise we'll go for it. Lunch and beverages provided, and the new $35 Beaver Bucks. Questions? E-mail or call Amber (AmberK1 at aol.com, 469-7777).
 
FEEL THE POWER
 
...of our extra Ardantane generator. That's right, we own two, don't need both. So we're selling off the larger one, which is presently stored in Rio Rancho. Do YOU need a generator for your home, cabin, country retreat, or whatever? Wouldn't you love to have electricity when the grid goes down, or to light and heat your little place in the mountains?
 
This is a pretty BIG one. New it cost about $1600, and it's been used very little. We're asking  only $900, and the proceeds will go to the Land Fund to help retire the bank mortgage at Ardantane. Call or write Amber if you're interested in looking at it (AmberK1 at aol.com, 469-7777).
