[Ardantane Herald] An Ardantane Class for All Pagan Leaders and Group Members

Hi Folks,
     Just so you know, we can accommodate maybe 4 more people in the Group Dynamics class coming up this weekend. If you lead a group, are in a group, or have thought about starting a group, this class could give you excellent tools and insights--and save you some grief!
     YES, we still have financial aid for those who need it. YES, we have indoor, heated, comfy places to sleep. YES, you owe it to yourself to beef up your group skills and have a fun weekend in a beautiful setting. And YES, we have free chocolate.... Oh, that was a shameless bribe!
     Seriously, a few more students would enrich the class even more, so please consider it. All it takes to sign up is an e-mail to Registrar at ardantane.org. You can pay when you arrive, or contact me about financial aid. Hope to see you at Group Dynamics!

AS ROWAN ANNOUNCED RECENTLY: There are still a few seats available in the Group Dynamics in Paganism class scheduled for December 2-3. 

 
Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3: Group Dynamics in Paganism, 9 am to 5 pm at Ardantane.
 
     You’ve worked hard for the Pagan community. Why not reward yourself with a weekend in the beautiful Jemez Mountains, learning, socializing, and relaxing with other friendly Pagan elders?
     The Group Dynamics Intensive is for you, if you hold a leadership role in a group, if you have ever wanted to be a group leader, or if you want to thrive as a member within a group. It is a chance for you to meet with other experienced Elders and share concerns and solutions. The intensive is highly recommended for Pagan Elders who have not had any formal training in Group Dynamics and Group Process. The program will:
·         Provide tools you can use to make your own group stronger and more effective.
·         Fill gaps in your own formal training on group facilitation and group dynamics.
·         Give you techniques for fostering love and trust in your group.
·         Offer strategies and tactics for dealing with challenging members and problem situations.
·         Provide a forum where you can discuss group issues with other Pagan elders and leaders, in a confidential and supportive environment.
 
LEAD INSTRUCTOR: Amber K is the author of Covencraft, True Magick, and other books on magick and Paganism; she has been a Wiccan priestess for 25 years, was First National Officer of Covenant of the Goddess for three terms, and is nationally known as a Craft teacher.
